Manuscript Preparation Guidelines:
All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal for Housing Science and Its Applications must be written in English and adhere to proper grammar and terminology standards. Authors are required to submit their manuscript only once to obtain a single submission ID number. Multiple submissions for the same manuscript may result in disqualification from consideration. Each manuscript submission must include a cover letter containing the title and the names of the author(s).
Language:
Authors whose native language is not English should ensure that their manuscript is written in fluent English before submission. The text should adhere to either American or British English usage, without mixing both.
Submission Process:
Manuscripts should be submitted to the International Journal for Housing Science and Its Applications via email <ijhsa@housingscience.org>. Authors may choose to submit the manuscript as a single file for the refereeing process, either in Word or PDF format. This file should include all figures, tables, and supplementary data.
References:
The reference list should follow a uniform format, including author(s) name(s), year of publication, journal/book title, chapter/article title, volume number/chapter, and pagination. The references should be brought at the end of the article, and numbered in the order of their appearance in the paper. The use of DOI is strongly encouraged.
Formatting Requirements:
While there are no strict formatting requirements, all manuscripts must include essential elements such as Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Funding & Acknowledgment, Conflict of Interest, as well as artwork and tables with captions.
Revised Submissions:
Authors are instructed to resubmit their revised manuscripts in the format specified by the International Journal for Housing Science and Its Applications, ensuring that the document is editable. It is recommended to keep the layout of the text simple and utilize spell-check and grammar-check tools to avoid errors.
Manuscript Submission and Verification:
Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published in print or electronic form, nor should they be under consideration by another publication. Any related or potentially duplicated materials should be disclosed at the time of submission.
Manuscript Structure:
The manuscript should be structured with the following sections: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments, and References. The file size should be limited.
Authorship Criteria:
Authorship should be granted to individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the research, as outlined in the provided criteria. The order of authors should reflect their respective contributions, with the first author being the primary contributor.
Submission Preparation Checklist:
Authors are required to ensure that their submission complies with the following checklist:
- The manuscript has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Office Word or LaTeX format.
- Authors are not required to sign any copyright transfer agreements, and permission for re-use is granted under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
Non-compliance with these guidelines may result in the return of the submission to the authors for correction.
