Open Access Statement

The Creative Commons copyright licenses and tools provide a balanced approach within the traditional framework of “all rights reserved” established by copyright law. These tools offer a simple, standardized method for individuals, companies, and institutions to grant copyright permissions for their creative works.

Authors who submit to the International Journal for Housing Science and Its Applications agree to the following terms: Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

Under this license, you are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.

However, you must adhere to the following terms:

  • Attribution: You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. This must be done in a reasonable manner that does not suggest the licensor endorses you or your use.
  • ShareAlike: If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.
  • No additional restrictions: You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

Please note:

  • You are not required to comply with the license for elements of the material in the public domain or where your use is permitted by applicable exceptions or limitations.
  • No warranties are given. The license may not provide all permissions necessary for your intended use. Other rights, such as publicity, privacy, or moral rights, may restrict how you use the material.
